The place was reasonably clean and had a good setting in the middle of the city, with a large room and a private bathroom.

I recently stayed at a fantastic hotel in Selby for a few nights and had a great experience. The owners were incredibly helpful and polite when I checked in, and they quickly resolved any issues that came up. The communal kitchen and lounge area was a pleasant surprise, with a large fridge, two ovens, and a hob for guests to use. It made my stay much more convenient than most budget hotels. Additionally, they provided a secure area to store my bike, which was a huge plus. The hotel itself was modern and clean, with comfortable beds and a lovely decor. It was just a short, two-minute walk from the center of town, making it a perfect choice for my trip. I also appreciated the off-street parking available.

Cheap and new, comfortable bed, nice facilities. The communal kitchen and lounge were a great addition, with plenty of space and useful equipment. It was convenient to have a designated area to store my bike. The price was also very affordable.

Noisy neighbors, thin walls, loud code doors, lack of fan or ventilation, no storage or hooks in bathrooms. The noise from the neighboring rooms was extremely disruptive, as the walls were very thin.

We were pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness and tidiness of the rooms at Sallow Tree House Self Catering. The decor was also very appealing, creating a cozy and comfortable atmosphere. The friendly manager we encountered was helpful and allowed us to check in early.
